Video of sitar and tabla world music instruments of India

The signature sound of India undoubtedly comes from the music of the sitar and tabla. With such confined limits placed on popular music, it is remarkable that the sitar has become a somewhat well known instrument. No doubt it should be, but so too should many other world string instruments, such as the shamisen, pipa and oud, to name a few.

The sitar is at its finest when accompanied by the tabla, a couple of Indian hand drums, as seen here. After watching the video, Click Here to view another sitar video.

Modern master of the Native American flute, Jeff Ball delivers an amazing improv performance on this special music instrument!

Certainly it is no surprise that one of the simplest instruments in the world is among the most amazing, and Jeff Ball is here to prove the point. With only a crafted piece of wood, it is the musician that makes the music great, alongside the providence of the flute maker, and mother nature herself.

After the video, click here to check out the ocarina, another wind instrument.
